I was born in the 60's, so being a 70's / 80's kid I think there was more respect for teachers and parents!. and they treat you with the same!.It was definately cooler in the 80's, and the pop music was better!.
In the 90's kids were off their heads with allsorts!.

For me it was the music, hanging with your friends without the risk of gettting shot or stabbed, all the neighbours would have known each other and we all got on, hardly any traffic on the roads so you could enjoy a game of football or skipping on the street,
also having the time during the week to sit down and have a healthy meal without rushing here and there,

Everything was cheaper!. I felt safe playing out with my mates!. People did more for you and there was a better sense of community than what we have today!. People are getting knifed rather than talking things through - I can't remember anything like that when I was younger!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The 80's were very violent and many more people used drugs, cigs, alcohol and the DUI was not a serious charge we were a drunk nation!.
