Answers:
I believe Thanksgiving is usually the third Thursday in November!. It represents the peaceful meal between the Pilgrims (first European colonies in the continental US) and the native Americans!. Mainly, however, it represents the thanks that the Pilgrims gave to God for their survival in the untamed, undeveloped New World landscape!. It is celebrated with a turkey dinner (had something to do with the wild turkeys being numerous in New England I think) and family and friends gathering for the meal!. People now use this holiday for numerous reasons and beliefs that many times have absolutely nothing to do with real thanksgiving!.
