When I was in the seventh grade at a parochial school, we were required to MEMORIZE the Gettysburg Address, while the eighth graders had to memorize The Declaration of Independence, including the signers in correct order!.

Our government is a shadow of its former self!. It honestly breaks my heart to think of the sacrifices given in vain!. Our founding fathers are surely looking down with pride!. =(
