There are times, I am really lucky!! On such cases, it is ok!. if they call me so!.
But, when I achieve something with labour, determination and knowledge, I get really mad when the call me Lucky!. I turn to them and say that I am not Lucky, I am just persistent!
( they might add that I am !.!.!.rude too, but I really do not care!!)

No not really but I suppose some may think it implies a lack of skill and that anything that is achieved is a fluke!. I THINK it shows a lack of intelligence to call someone lucky if it is implying that their life is easy!. No one has an easy life, we all experience humanely things and we all need to learn to cope with them!. The luckiest people are those who are not affected by trauma and hurt!. Who are strong and confident beings but the term lucky would be wrong to use!. They are skilled at living you could say and are well equipped for the worst!. Some people are naturally "lucky" at certain things!. For example my sister always wins prizes in a ballot!. I never do though!. Personally I never use the word lucky much because I think its quite offensive in some ways!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No, even though they usually call me that at the wrong time!. Occasionally things will go well for me through no fault of my own, but I've been called "lucky" at times when I had prepared and practiced for long hours to achieve a desired result and succeeded!. I just figure they don't understand -it's not as if they are trying to prevent me from succeeding (that would be another matter entirely, and would annoy me)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
