Question: Why don't we ever see green olives and black olives in the same container!? Will this form of blatant!?
discrimination ever end!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Green olive = 'immature' and usually soaked in a salty brine

Black olive = 'ripe' and usually cured in oil

Bottom line: 2 different textures, 2 different 'curing' methods, 2 different liquids!.!.!.yeah, THAT'S why they should be separate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well, I bought a pasta salad yesterday in a plastic container, and it has both!. It has taught me that I greatly prefer green olives!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it would ruin the flavor of the olives
black is ripened, green is maturedWww@Enter-QA@Com
