Question: Do you feel bad when you get mean answers!?
And worse yet!.!.!. when they get so many thumbs up!? I just had a very rude answer that attacked me personally saying that I should not put my dogs outside if I am going to be a ********* about it (I told the neighbor kids not to pet my dogs when they are tied up outside to pee and I am inside the house) and how I think that I am better than everyone else (in this question I actually felt inferior!.!. not better than others) etc!. This person got lots of thumbs up!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i haven't actually received many mean answers, but i did once, when this answerer called me "immature and childish" and told me to "grow up", at a question with was really important to me because i was feeling depressive about that situation!.
so i get how you mean when someone asks a serious question, and a mean answer can really get them down, especially when they come to this website in earnest to find answers!.
but then another answerer was really kind to me and gave really good answer, and wrote that the mean answer was "unkind and unhelpful" which was really nice of her!. so yeh, the good answers make up for the mean ones!.
and i trust most users of Yahoo answers, they give good answers!. just ignore the mean ones!.!.!.!.as for the mean answers getting thumbs up!.!.!.!.!.just ignore that!. most people are flippant when doing the thumbs thing, without thinking too much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

People feel tough being so anonymous!. I've given so wise crack answers because I felt the question was silly or the person asking the question wasn't serious!.
I do think that our society is less polite!. I've gotten the middle finger for pulling into traffic by a guy who was at least 50 yards away and sped up in a big truck to do so!. I got another finger for walking across the street when a truck was 30 yards away but a guy in a furniture delivery truck!. The truth is both could have easily killed or very seriously injured me & themselves had they made a misjudgement in speeding up to flick me off!.
I think we live in a world where there's a lot of anger and stress and these clowns are not expressing not at you but their own inner rage at their own problems!.
You need to let it go and look at their anger as their problem not yours!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

sometimes but its alright though to feel bad anyways because everyone can be different for example idiots who love to use abusive words to people just to get attentions and thumbs up!. So remember people who gives S*** answers are dumb B******S who doesn't actually want to have fun in yahoo answers and that they want to do it because they want to get attention!.

Don't worry about it hun, this world has an alarming share of trolls!. Personally, I'd be happy if anybody answered any of my questions, as most of them are with real life issues I'm having, but sometimes I wonder if people are here just to get points or to help people out!.
The rudest thing that's happened to me was when a "friend" of mine sent me a very rude e-mail out of the blue, calling me all sorts of names!. Which came as a bit of a shocker, as I had (and to this day, have) no idea what I had done to wrong her! But I didn't waste my time sobbing over it, coz obviously she had just turned into a ****** and was trying to convert my life to hell!.

I do feel bad, I know that some people are on here just to be mean, but I dont think it is very nice to attack people on here who are just looking for support and need an answer to help them!. I try not to take it personally, but it is hard not to!. I am very sensitive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

People will say things like,"Toughen up," or "Why do you care!? It's JUST the internet!" But for some reason it does still hurt!. If it's just a rude answer, I ignore it, but when tons of people agree it's horrible!
