a gorgeous man in a dark gray pinstriped suit approached me and held out a single red rose!. "There is dancing there by the fountain, may I have the honor!?" he asked!.
I looked into the deepest, most beautiful, lash rimmed eyes as I took his hand!. Silently he led me toward the fountain as the first strains of a waltz could be heard!. I had suddenly found myself feeling shy and realized I was looking at his shoes!.
He tipped my chin up so that he could look into my face and encircled me with his arms!. As we lightly swayed to the music I was only vaguely aware of the other couples also dancing!. His steps were purposeful but easy, matched to mine!. He led, but made it so easy to follow - if I didn't know better I would have thought we had been dancing together for years!.
After the dance was over he asked if I would like to dance again to which I replied that I felt I should continue on my way!. Disappointment flashed across his face; but, he was quick to recover!. He thanked me for the dance, said he enjoyed it very much and asked if he could walk me home!. Again I thanked him but, declined!.
Before he had a chance to ask anything else I quickly departed, disappearing into the misty night air!. As I climbed into my cab I glanced back just once!. I would dream sweet dreams tonight with just one question -- would I have an opportunity to meet him here again before he searched for and found me!?
