Question: Why is PDA so wrong to you!?
or what are your thoughts on Public Display of Affection!.
I belive the schools are becoming more and more strict each year i have a friend [sophmore] his school dosent allow girls to hug another girl,and boys to hold hands with boys !. also you have to have a rulers size of space away from one-n-other !.
I think tht pda is fine ,i like to see people loving one-n-other little kisses,i think its cute!. Me and my fiance do pda alot and we do get the ocasional stares but we ignore it !. I belive people are just nosey !. && im not gonna be distant from the man i love right!? I mean yea theres a diffrence between "party in the pants"in public and kissing !. I dont mind pda ,and if it were up to me , i would change the schools strict rules !. I just dont get this world today ,

i agree with u completly! me and my boyfriend (when we were in high school) got a saturday school for standing next to each other cause a teacher knew we were going out! how stupid is that! I think a small peck is just fine and who cares if someone is kissing somone else or giving them a hug!. One time my friends dad died and i gave her a hug and we got sent to the principal office! schoold are taking the pda thing way to far! some people are just a little too nosey, and they should just mind their own business!. But when it comes to the popualr kids at my old school, they would never get in trouble for pda and they would practically have their tounges down each others throats! talk about unfair! i know not all schools are like that but it has gone too far! and im just sick of it! also out in public, who cares if somone kisses the person they love!. yah we dont need a picture of what they really want to do, but a simple kiss is fine!. I think they should keep the strict rules in schools!! Kids shouldn't be worrying about hugging or kissing on their partner during classes they should be getting ready for their next class!. BUT once you are a grown up I feel that if you would like to display your affection in public then by all the means do so!!!! I don't see anything wrong with it!. i dont think its totally wrong but like at school, the people who really go at it are the ugly ones so its gross, and people would always makeout infront of my locker (every year its on the corner of the hall) so that isnt too fun, , i think like light PDA is ok and that rulers space length rule is rather dumb but its when it looks like all nasty that i think it should be band, like a PDA limit, kinda like a speed limit, a recomendation that is lightly enforcedWww@Enter-QA@Com

i don't mind pda, i guess!. yeah, it's kind of annoying if you're not the one pda-ing, but i just ignore it!. seriously, it's none of my business!.

I find it obnoxious if I'm trying to get to classes and two people are making out in front of me, or if people are holding hands so I can't get by them!.

Wow your friend's school is really crossing the line!.!.!.Luckily, mine isn't like that! I personally think that PDAs are fine, as long as you don't show TOO much affection!.!.!.Holding hands, hugs and kissing is completely fine! I personally show my affection with my boyfriend!.!.!.!.The only way it would be a bit awkward and embarrassing is if it goes more than kissing!.!.!.!.

I have always been a little uncomfortable with overt PDA but hand holding, a hug with a friend, a peck on the lips or cheek if quick just doesn't seem to be that bad to me!. It is nice to see people in love!. I still like to hold my husbands hand, and we have been together for more than 14 years now!.
However, that said, the country I am currently living in has a law that allows for deportation if you are found kissing, hugging, or giving any PDA!. Even holding hands is considered questionable if you are of the opposite sex, regardless of marital state!. I find the restrictions far more uncomfortable than I ever did PDAs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The problem is what is acceptable to some is offensive to others, and in our society, we seem to be embracing the concept that people have a right not to be offended!. Personally, I'd say make out with your fiance all you want!. If I don't like, I won't look, but I appreciate your discretion!. Others are offended by it!. The other problem (especially with younger lovers) is that they will push the envelope, so authorities like the school will set the boundaries way, way back not allowing for any gray area!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
