I think I killed my cell?!
Question: I think I killed my cell!?
I dropped my new cell phone in the water any hope of reviving it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Answers:
Leave it alone and let it dry for a couple hours, my friend went swimming with his phone for 2 hours and after it dried it worked perfectly!. My dad dropped his in the toilet also, it worked fine after a couple hours of drying!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
YES!!! There is hope!! Follow these steps:
1!. Take out the battery and SIM card NOW!.!.!.as soon as possible!!
2!. Drop the whole cell phone (not the battery & SIM card) into a clean bowl of isopropyl rubbing alcohol!.!.!.its SCARY, I know, but the alcohol binds to any water inside the phone and evaporates at room temperature!. This is the scariest step, but you have to do it! Leave the phone in the alcohol for about 5-10 minutes!.
3!. Now put the phone (opened up, if it's a flip phone) onto the heat register of your TV!.!.!.those are the little vents at the back of the TV (on top) where excess heat comes out!.
4!. And this is the hard part!.!.!.PATIENCE!! Leave it there for 3-4 days!.!.!.DO NOT PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN!!!! You have to be patient!.!.!.if you put the battery back in and there's the tiniest amount of moisture inside, the circuits will fry and your phone will be dead!. Be patient!!
5!. After 3-4 days, pop in the SIM card, pop in the battery, and fire it up!. Voila!! I'd be willing to bet it works!.!.!.how do I know!? I'm a complete knucklehead and I've done this TWICE!!
I got these instructions off the internet after my first phone/water disaster, and it totally worked (I was SO SCARED to drop it into the alcohol, let me tell ya)!. A year later when I did the same thing I did it again, and it worked again! My phone is now on its 3rd life!.!.!.hee hee!. Best of luck to you!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Unfortunately, you'll probably have to buy a new one!.
But dry it out as best you can!. My friend dropped hers in the toilet and her friend's dad temporarily fixed it, so maybe it still has a chance!. But good luck :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

switch off and remove the battery and let it dry for a few hours, or safer, a few days cos water can get in between and under the circuitry and can get damaged when switched on!. if it works, it may not work 100%!.
Try have it repaired!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Try reviving it, but I don't think so!. Take it to the store, and see what they can do!. (also, read up on your insurance and warranty, usually you get a 30 day warranty but I don't know how it works if you break it!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
