Okay!.!.!. I use to do that all the time!. I gave it up when it seemed some didn't like being bothered!. If someone emails me and says thank you for best answer, I think it's great!. I have made new contacts and friends from that!.
For those who think it's stupid or say they don't know us, it's a great way to expand your contacts and you will never know us if you don't try to know us!.
It is a common courtesy to say thank you when someone does something nice or gives you something!. I think we tend to forget that and shouldn't!.

Wanting to say thanks for giving you 10 points is kind of ignoring the idea they were just thankful for getting useful answer!. It also demeans that answer!. I leave a comment of thanks under the best answer in the place for that!. A lot of people never check for comments after they give someone best answer!. I have never emailed but I have received emails & nice messages!. I received a very rude & nasty email from someone I never heard of, guess she didn't like my answer to some question or was having a bad day!. She lost her account over it!.~~~~
