Why do animals' eyes glow in the dark?!

Question: Why do animals' eyes glow in the dark!?
Answers:
Probably all the veg they eat, lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

Because they have a luminous covering on their retinas (on the back surface of their eyes) called the "tapetum lucitum", which reflects light at night, when lighting is poor!. This acts as "night vision goggles" for the animal, allowing them to see as well at night as they do during the day!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Their eyes appear to glow but it's actually a reflection of light hitting the back of their eye!.!.!. it's a shiny type of thing!.!.kinda like the inside shell of a greenshell!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its because most vertebrate animals have a layer of tissue on their eyes called tapetum lucidum which helps them have superior eye sight during night!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no!.!.!. they dont actually "glow" in the dark!.
certain animals' eyes reflect light!. if your walking around in the dark your not going to see a pair of glowing eyes unless you shine a light at them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because of refraction!.!.!.differen't color!. I believe their retina is always black but yup!.!.just refraction :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

They reflect the light they don't actually glow!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
