The difference, at least in the Navy, is that all ships float on top of the water and all boats are submersible!. So if you've got a lifeboat, it's not actually a boat, because it's not a submarine!. That lifeboat is as much a ship as the aircraft carrier it came from!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
