Question: Cheerleaders,do you get angry when people say cheering is not a sport!?
I have friends who cheer and I hear a lot of talk saying cheering is a sport!.But these girls i know are in incredible shape and very fit!.Cheerleaders,what is your take on this when people say its not a sport and how would you justify its a sport

Cheerleading is definitely 100% a sport!. (Have you seen the arms, abs, and legs on cheerleaders!? PURE MUSCLE!) Plus, in what other sport are you lifting another person in the air, flipping in the air, and dancing also takes alot of endurance!. U also have to do lots of push ups and running in cheer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I never cheered but my young daughter (8) went to a cheerleading camp last year!. It was actually geared for older girls trying out for high school squads!. She worked her butt off!. She was trying to perfect her back handspring because she needs it for dance and one day would like to cheer!.!.!. Anyone who says it's not a sport should try one of those camps for a week!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I would not classify it as a sport, but i will rate it as a physical activity!. Seeing the amount of physical toning and strength they have, I place it in the same category as weightlifting and synchronized swimming!.

Of course I get angry!. I hate it when unathletic people say it's not a sport!. Who are you to say it isn't!? Well, it is frustrating!. We work hard, just because we're not in a competition doesn't mean that it isn't a sport!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
