Question: Do you get all the shitty jobs in work!?
I've only refused to do 1 specific job in 20 years, somebody tried to order me to clean human excrement of a toilet cubicle wall, i'm not a cleaner and its a bio-hazard so not within my remit!. But i do whatever is asked otherwise!. Maybe its because i don't complain and just get on with it when i'm the only one doing all the shitty jobs or maybe its because i'm thought of as a joke!. been there done that but hey it pays the bills i guess i love how people like you me and others do these jobs without even the slightest thought from those whom don't appreciate our services!.
i work in retail big whoop i know, i am well educated but due to my health i can only work part time hours really as any more is too risky but i clean the whole store and still i get people coming in saying things like!.

No i dont do all the bad jobs in work, and like you i would refuse such jobs!.!.!.!.
It doesnt hurt from time to time to do jobs outside your remit but there is a limit to how far i will go outside my remit!.!. I didnt work hard to get where i am to be told to clean a toilet!
EDIT: BUT if someone wants to pay me my salary (nice rate per hour) to sit and man a phone or stand at a photocopier for an hour or two then so be it!.!. who am i to complain about getting a good salary for doing zap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Throughout Uni I worked in a supermarket and although I was promoted to Store Supervisor within my first year the other supervisors still seen me as a grafter, I loved to work hard, there was a kind of underground feeling that I worked harder than anyone else!.
