Ethics Q: Would you break a vow of "I'm never speaking to you again&quo!

Question: Ethics Q: Would you break a vow of "I'm never speaking to you again" if the person's health might be at risk!?
Situation:
During a recent medical test, Person A discovered he was exposed to tuberculosis!. Person A is undergoing preventive treatment to ensure that he doesn't develop active TB!.

Person A lived with Person B for about 9 months (nonromantically)!. The relationship ended on extremely bad terms!. A had vowed never to speak to B again!.

A's exposure could have come from ANYWHERE!.!.!.any stray cough on the subway, etc!. There's no way of knowing!. That stray cough could have gotten them both at the same time!.

Is A morally/ethically obligated to advise B that B might need to get checked out, or can A say "sucks to be B" and go on with his life!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
A should seriously tell B, even if A doesn't love B anymore!.!.!.it's just wrong not to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

ok, it never hurts to be polite, plus misery loves company, but let the health dept do it!.

someone oughta let "B" know!. Just so it doesn't keep going around if "B" is also positiveWww@Enter-QA@Com

I would agree with the first two respondents!. The family of B would probably take against A, if the strain B had turned out to be fatal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if A doesn't want to personally tell B than ok!.!. but A should atleast get someone else to tell B!.!. which is the moral/ethical thing to doWww@Enter-QA@Com

Yes i would :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
