sometimes i do if its real bad!.!.!.mine went out one nite but the power went out and it scared me!.!.i thought it was my pc,,but it automatically shut off and i had to turn it back on,,so i thought it tore my pc up, thank goodness it didnt,,get you a power cord to protect it from power failures,, it will save your pc!.!. that's what i have,Www@Enter-QA@Com
No, but I probably should since I live in the lightening capital of the world (Tampa, FL)!. My cousin and his family live right down the street from me and last summer they lost all of their electronics because the house got struck by lightening (house didn't burn though)!. Well, he had a good excuse to get a nice new widescreen HDTV!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!. When I was about 10 or 11, a thunderstorm came and hit our house (the lightening I guess) and it burnt up (not fire, just killed) everything electronic in our living room, TV, stereo, phone!.!.!.all dead!. So, yes, I shut her down!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

not only that, i unplug it!. i have a lap top, so i unplug the power source, and i can use it for as long as the battery will last!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
yeah!.!.!.also if you have an ipod you should turn that off!. for some reason lightning is attracted to them!. so if you want to get struck by lightning, leave it on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes!.!. And i unplug my PC!. and it doesn't matter if you have a surge protector or not!. it's the Jules that spikes your electricity and Causes your electronics to go!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
