I personally love it!. I think it works for all rooms, not just a dorm!. I'd worry about the quality though!. If you are really in a pinch, you can try Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens and Things!. At least there you might be able to find something that will hold up better!. I remember being in college, and you do everything on your bed and everyone sits on it, so you have to wash the comforter alot!. A cheap one will fall apart!.

a full or a queen will work for a large twin!.!.it won't go under the bed but you will have some extra to work with which is ok!.
