i think it's necessary!.i mean, one of our foreign policy goals is to support democracy and human rights and to interfere if they get violated!.Saddam was obviously violating rights and we went to Afghanistan to find the son of a b*tch that knocked the WTCs down and yeah we've been in this war a long time but don't you think it'll be worth it once the Iraqis can take care of themselves!?

Probably the best thing I've ever heard is "Freedom is not free", and it isn't!. We still need to fight to let us have this freedom!. People in wars don't die in vein, nor are they forgotten!. We have way too many hippies who just want peace and they forget that there are people on the other side of the world who don't care about that and just want to kill us! We need revenge of the people way back on 9/11 and I feel that little or no justice has been served!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Afghanistan was neccesary because they attacked us 1st!.

First off, they are two separate conflicts, although the United States is involved in both!.
Secondly, human rights are being horribly violated in many places around the world but the U!.S!. has not sent forces to all these sources of human misery!.
I think that the role of the U!.S!. is NOT to be the world's police force but rather to lead by example!. A good place to start would be to give the prisoners at Guantanamo basic legal rights (ie, legal counsel, due process, habeas corpus) and to stop acts of torture!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
