The belly button itself, no you can not sprain it!.

However, the muscles directly behind the belly botton you most certainly can pull and/or injure!.

It’s probably just a pulled muscle!. But if the pain doesn’t start subsiding soon or gets worse go get yourself checked out by a medical professional!.
