Have you checked your bathroom!? I always take my glasses off to apply makeup!. How about next to your telephone!? i have to wear them to read phone books!. One time I looked all over for my sunglasses and discovered they were on top of my head!. Nightstand!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, I usually forget mine are in my hand and carry them around for a while, then sit them down somewhere!.
So when I realize they are missing, I re-track where I have been!. I've also been known to leave them!.!.!. and my keys!.!.!. at church!.
Since you're packing though, maybe you set them on a box!.
also look in your car, I'm always leaving mine in my car!.

You left one pair on the 2nd to the last box you pack in one of the back rooms in your house!.
The other pair may be on a windowsill!.
