The excessive heat you can deal with to a point!. The humidity is just too much to bear!. I work as a courier driver!. In and out of a non-air conditioned vehicle daily!. No time to chill in corporate offices!. Living in NJ!. Humidity is worst than excessive heat but here in NJ we get them both, at the same time usually!. Then comes the severe thunderstorms to try to cool things down but makes the humidity worse!.

well living in florida i'd say the combination of both
a high humidity makes it impossible for the sweat on your both to evaporate, making it impossible for your body to cool off naturally, thereby making the heat more unbearable

Humidity!.!.!. i live in bombay, and the humidity in the city make seven winters quite sticky!.
