What should happen to this 7 year old???!
Question: What should happen to this 7 year old!?!?!?
There was a news story a few days ago, that was about a seven year old girl at a daycare center that threw a baby out a window onto a concrete floor and the baby died of head trauma !.
The seven year old admitted to doing it, and the police couldn't do anything because the child was too young!.
It was also said that the girl was known to have "anger management problems"!.
Who is at fault here in your opinion!?
What are ways that you think the child should be punished in order for her to see that what she did was wrong and she shouldn't do something like that again!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

the person that was taking care of her at the time should have been watching her better, especially if she knew about her 'anger management problems!.' of course she should get punished, otherwise she might start to grow up thinking "if they can't do anything to me because i'm too young, i can get away with a lot more!." something needs to be done before anything else happens!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I can't believe she never showed any signs of anger before so it's her parents fault not to get her professional help earlier!.
You can punish her!.!.!.!.but she's not really going to understand what she did!.
I think she should be taken out of the home for a period of time while undergoing extensive psychiatric care!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

All three
The child for doing it period
The parents!. They might not have noticed mental problems with the kid!.
The teachers!. WHERE WERE THEY WHEN THIS HAPPENED!?! No child in a day care should be picking up other children, expecally an infant!.
Children like this become serial killers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course it's the childs fault, but in a way, it's most likely the parents!. The child probably doesn't have a good childhood, which made her rebellious, angry, etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think the day care workers and adults are at fault for keeping children together at such huge age differences and for not supervising the children carefully knowing fully well that the 7 yr old has problems!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
thats awful!.
what did the baby do to her!?
i dont think it should be anything TOO drastic, since shes 7!. but definitely a punishment she'll remember!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The fact that the girl is under 8 means that she is still in her tender years and protected under the law as not being capable of undwerstanding right from wrong legally!.
So nothing should happen to the girl punishment wise!. Now the person(s) in charge of the day care, they are liable for the incident as a foreseeable outcome of leaving small children unattended with infants!. They could be found guilty of a number of crimes in this situation!. It is up to the District Attorney as to what if anything that person would charge them with!.
I am sure the parents will ask for the maximum which if I am not wrong could be life depending on the jurisdiction and the judge's interpretation of the laws concerning homicide!.
As for trying to teach the girl the error of her ways, that may do more harm than good!. In fact, this child may need help to get over the grief and horror of what she has done!. She may be scarred for life!. Punishment is in the crime in this case!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Woah that is just so sick and cruel!. That girl really needs to talk to a therapist or someone that can calm her temper!. =l i mean she's only 7 lord knows what happens when she's a teenager!. I mean shouldn't her parents do something to prevent this!.
But its also the people who work in the daycare center!. I mean who would let a child more than a 7 year old walk in carry a baby and let her throw it out of the window!. They should be more careful and watch closer!. I think its the girls fault she should have grown a little mature!. I mean my brother is 7 he knows the things from right and wrong especially meaning carrying a baby!. I also think its the people who work in that daycare who have lack of supervision!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, the 7 year old should not get away with it!. I think you understand right from wrong at 7 years old!. I guess the psychologists will determine it and hopefully they will lock up the kid and get her the psychological help she needs!. Her parents need to be looked at too because how can a kid do something this drastic and nobody see something coming!? I am sure the parents will say they didn't know she could do something like that but you gotta see something and if not, are you even parenting or just letting day care rear your child!? I guess this will end up as an episode on Law & Order ripped from the headlines!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
