I agree with you!. My little town is too cheap to do it though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

certainly not every place will be able to support a public transportation system!.
in rural areas and small towns, for instance, it is probably not practical!.
but you're right, most cities above a certain size DO have systems, and most of them could stand to be much improved!.
unfortunately, public transport depends on taxpayer's money (very rarely can such a system pay for itself by fares alone), and over the last several decades politicians and taxpayers have not invested enough in making this systems better!.
i think that will be changing very soon though, as gas prices spiral out of control!. unfortunately, building public transportation can take years, and we won't be able to respond to this crisis very promptly!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Without a doubt!. Go to France, Spain and Italy but to name just a handful of W!. European Countries they have it off to a "Tee" Come to London and the south of the u!.k!. it is a joke!. All they are interested is profit and the shareholders returns on their investment!. It costs a fortune to use public transport and if you enter into the Capital by car, you pay a "Congestion Charge" daily!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

lol
the 'town' closest to my house has a grand total of 8 streets, and less than 400 people!. 'public transpotation' isn't required

but larger cities should definitally have it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think you are right, but in small towns, that is hard to come by!. Maybe if neighborhoods get together and commute to grocery stores and such, that will help all around!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, yes, I'm going to have to agree with you!. It's only fair and it helps the environment (kinda like carpooling)!. I agree that the city should take a stand, good pointWww@Enter-QA@Com

That is just not an option for smaller cities & towns!.!.!.!.!.!.the cost would bankrupt many of them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
