actually, for a while ,yes, your body goes into a starvation mode where it shuts down your motabolisim and begins to store (fat) what you have because it doesnt think you will get more, however, you do not gain more, you just retain what you have(don't lose any)

eventually you will lose though, because your body still has to function(burn calories to do any exertion)

also, they may pack on pounds after not eating for a while because the body hasn't got anything, and when it does it doesn't think it will get anymore for a while, so it is storing it for survival purposes(not 100% sure of last paragraphWww@Enter-QA@Com

yes!.!. when you don't eat, your body goes into "starvation mode"!.!. you stomach will start to eat itself (resulting in ulcers)!.!. not only that, but when you finally do get something in your stomach, your body will store it because it doesn't know when you'll be feeding it again!.!. your metabolism slows!.!. which is why all the specialists keep saying that you should eat 4-5 mini meals about every 3 hours a day!.!. not the 3 big ones that everyone originally thought!.!. 4-5 mini meals, while hard to plan out, keeps your metabolism going!. and will get your body on a schedule, and keep you going energy wise!.!.

I've heard that and it is technically because, for example, if you skip breakfast, you'll get hungry early and start pigging out on snacks before lunch then you'll eat a big lunch because you think you skipped breakfast so you deserve it!.!.!.then it kinda just keeps going!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
