Mom, I got engaged at 24, then went on an Air Force duty assignment where I met a wonderful girl whom I knew was the RIGHT person to marry!. Instead, out of a sense of duty, I married the person I was engaged to when I returned who turned out to be a selfish, complaining b*tch!. The marriage lasted 7 years, and I never saw the other person again!. It was that old Catholic sense of guilt!. Luckily, now I have a wonderful wife!. Wasted many years, though!. I lost an expensive ring my grandparents had made for me at a park when I dropped it over the antenna of my radio for safekeeping!. It either fell off, or someone took it!. Whatever happened, I never should have taken it off, it was precious!.
