If you have installed it correctly you should be able to go to your start icon in you bottom left corner, then programmes, then msn messenger should show up on there!.
also if you check down to your bottom right corner as new icon should be shown that looks like 2 green people, click on that and messenger will then open

Well if you don't have a shortcut yet, I think you could go to 'start' at the bottom left, go to 'all programs' then look for the name of your messenger (Yahoo, MSN!.!.!.)!. Then when you are hovering on it, it will give you the option to run!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It should have left an icon on your desktop

It should open up when you initally log into your PC, either that access it thru the yahoo homepage!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
