No, The Simpsons is a way more comical representation of a realistic modern family!.
Family Guy is idiotic in that it is way less realistic and contains retarded characters (ex!. stewie, Chris, and meg, they are annoying)!. I mean I like the show but I find the only parts I can laugh at are Peter and Lois's, Peter and his friends, or when its making fun of something like Star Wars!.
South Park is satisfactory in my opinion because sometimes it is way too crude!. And I am not a sensitive person to that kind of stuff!.
American Dad is funny, but way too much like Family Guy!.

I would say it all depends!. Simpsons humor is much more intelligent then Family Guy's!. also Simpsons is iconic, and it's one of the longest running shows in television history!. Don't get me wrong Family Guy is also very entertaining, they know how to get a good laugh, but Simpsons is much more clever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They're not really comparable as they're two entirely different kinds of humor!. Obviously Family Guy and American Dad are similar, and I like them both equally, but I like The Simsons, too, and South Park!. In a word: no!. I will say that the Simpsons has declined in recent years, since FOX hired some dopey writers, but all in all, The Simpsons have been, and will always be king!.
