I have 3 kids and I wouldn't call it having favorites!. My kids are treated equally, no one child gets anymore love, priveledges, ect!. than the other does!. But they are all special in different ways!. May not be that way in everyone elses family, but in mine we don't play the "favorite" game!. I've seen the distruction that can cause a child personally and I don't go for that crap!. If you can't treat them all equal then people need to stop having kids after the first one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I am a parent of 2 grown children!. I don`t believe I have a favorite, they both have good and bad traits,I think that is why a lot of parents say "Why can`t you be more like your brother and or sister whatever the case may be!." A parent may have something more in common with one child over another!. I favor both my kids for different reasons!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Deffo! No matter how sublte they are about not showing favouritism, there'll always be one kid the parent(s) can relate to better than the other(s) in a family with two or more kids!.
I actually eavesdropped on a conversation my mum was having once on the phone when I was going away to university and my brother was going through the horrible process of finding assisted living !. Mum said "The one I don't want to leave is moving away and the one I do want to leave is staying"

Oh of course, it's human nature!. That's like taking 5 friends of yours and claiming you aren't any closer to one than the rest!. Now with your least favorite child, you wouldn't feel guilty about making them do all the chores and crap that no one wants to do, and just use the excuse you're making them do it because it builds character!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
no they do not!. it appears like that from one day to the next but they are all meant to be the same!. its just a thing all siblings have to go through and say to the dying end!. i have had it with 4 sons and they all say this one or that one is favorite and i dont' have one!. its just a thing of consequence!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yep, but it has a lot to do with age!. My kids are adults now, and one is a much better person than the other!. Not only do I like him better, I probably love him more!.

Well, in the case of only's like me, oh course , cause they only have one :-D!. As for the times when they have more than one, I think the oldest and youngest tend to get favored!. Although my fiancee is the youngest and his mom seems to favor his sisters!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
