Question: Do you understand the whole going out for coffee with friends thing!?
I was thinking (a little too far into it i think) about coffee and how bizzare it is to go out and converse over coffee!.
Wouldn't it just be more comfortable and easier to stay at someones house and drink coffee!?
And what is with people all of a sudden needing a coffee!? Pretty much everytime my mum is shopping, we'll have to sit down for a half hour while she drinks her coffee!. Coffee tastes like crap to start with!.!.!.!.!.but is there something in peoples heads that make you badly want coffee while shopping!?
A meal I can understand, because eating is necessary!. Drinking coffee in my opinion is a waste of time!

Good coffee may be an acquired taste, but it can be very tasty!. If you have a nice little cafe in town, you can sit back in a comfortable chair, breathe in the aroma and chill with a friend!.
Being outside the house on a patio cafe overlooking the harbour can be pretty nice while sipping some good java!.
And eating and talking can be okay, but there are all those awkward moments of wanting to reply, but having a mouthful of linguini!.!.!.

some of us just like the taste, and alot of people meet at a certain cafe that is their favourite so it is also the atmosphere!.
My best friend and I meet for "coffee & cake" at this little beatnik-type cafe and we've been doing it since we were 12 so its kind if a ritual!.
I see where your coming from!. at this cafe I get "mates rates" so I get cheap coffee because I'm a regular!.

If I thought about it, i understand!. I guess it makes for a different environment!. I'm guilty of going to coffee to talk to friends!.!.!.but the place is awesome, has better coffee than i could ever make, and we sit out on a patio!. I never order straight coffee, i always get the ice blended or go for iced teas!. I guess it subliminally give you a little energy too and i know lots of people are addicted to caffeine and don't even know it!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's funny you should say this! I was just thinking about it like, an hour ago!. Yes! It seems weird!. I go out for coffee all the time!. (Really, I get tea, but that makes no difference!.) :)

Its another venue for social gathering, just like the bar scene was a few years back!. The good part of it is there is no law on the books for DWC (driving while caffeined)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you could eat a cookie, and i dont need coffee, but i guess its whatever fancys your soul!.!.!.like why do you have to go to the movies why not just download them and snuggle up on the coach!.!.or why go out for lunch, why doesnt someone just order in!.!.!.its whatever you like, and personally the idea of getting to gether for a date or a lil conversation or studying goes well in a starbucks type setting!.!.!.and i may not actually drink the coffee, but then again i have nothing agaisnts a nice cup of joe!.!.!.and i guess coffee has the same addictive qualities as ciggareetes and such, and some people get hooked by these things, and some dont!. I guess its all psychological!. coffee gives me the boost i need to shop, like a ciggarette after a meal, really gets the digestive juices flowing!!!
