I think you have a good voice, but you gotta work on intonation!. My suggestion to you would be to use some vibrato on your whole notes (like when you're holding out a note for a long time--depending how long)!. also, you might want to project your voice just a lil' bit!. You may want to play along with a piano, since it can guide you through the right note pitches (pianos tend to have good pitch)!. Or keep singing with the record to match her pitch!.
