They did years ago!. To me, they sold out when they did "Load"!. One could argue that the beginning of the end came with the 'Black Album' which is when they started working with Bob Rock and became more commercial/main stream!. I liked the 'Black Album' but everything after that is just garbage to my ears!. I thought that Trujillo would bring back the edge they had lost, but it didn't follow suit!.
The Black album definitely was commercial, but you could still hear remnants of their metal sides!. My favorites are still Ride the Lightning, Master of Pupper, And Justice For All!.!.!. My "pet name" for 'Load' and 'Reload' is 'Load of cr*p #1 and 2' Hehe!Www@Enter-QA@Com
