Well I'm a teen too and I re-did my room!. Its all pink and everything but it has a princess theme!. I have a canopy thing that hangs over the bed you know like a princess would!. I went to a decor store and bought things to hang on my wall that says 'princess' 'the only princess here is me' etc!. My idea is like common but your vintage idea sounds cool! I wish I would've thought of it!. Before the whole princess thing I did think about an 80s theme since I do 80s music and movies!. also try like a beach/summer theme!. I was going to do that but my mom said no (Gee! Parents!)!. Summer is one of the funnest times of the year and no matter what season it is we always want to think of the summer! My friend who is like a decor genius did her room a few years back really nicely!. It was past and present pin ups!. She put posters of Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day, Madonna, etc!. and made it like a time line across her wall it was radiantly done!. Its pretty time consuming though!. Good luck! =] xWww@Enter-QA@Com
I love the 70's look!.!.!. I did it for my 2 yr old daughter, just because it was the only room that I could do anything with!. I got her a lava lamp, and some light covers that have cool circles on them, a beaded curtain!.!.!. I am sure you could come up with some cool stuff!.!.!. I did more of an "updated" 70's room, but an authentic 70's room would be cool to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
