I am going to my first concert on Tuesday and I was wondering what your first concert was and where!?

Okay embarrasing, first concert was with my family and was one of the following, I can't recall which came first:
Tom Jones or Lena Horne at Westbury Music Fair with Grandma
Neil Sedaka in Vegas
Johnny Mathis in Tahoe
But my first concert going on my own with friends would have definitely been Billy Joel at Nassau Colosseum when I was in High School!. And that was followed by many many Billy concerts around the country over time as well as other cool concerts!.
You'll love Red Rocks, it's really awesome!. Bring a pillow though, the bleachers are hard and wear comfy shoes, you've got a hike to get to your seat from the car!. Bring a jacket too, it can get cool up there after dark!. Have fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Needless to say my first concert was with my wife back on February 12, 2001 when we went to see The Backstreet Boys at the Allstate arena in Chicago, IL!. Then we went to go see two concerts from my favorite group, which is U2!. We went to go see U2 on May 15, 2001, and October 15, 2001; both were held at the United Center in downtown Chicago, IL!. I particularly enjoyed the October 15th concert, because it was the day before my 26th Birthday! Now as I look back in time, now that I'll be 33 years old this October, I'll always remember The Backstreet Boys concert because it was VERY cold out and it was my first concert, but I'll remember the U2 concerts, because it was my ultimate goal to go see a live U2 concert!. I had always heard they were great, but now I can attest that they are in fact really great!!!!! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wasn't into all of them, but it was called Clash of the Titans tour, at Middletown Speedway, NY!.
1991, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer, with Alice in Chains opening up, believe it or not!. That was before they had 19 different sub-categories for metal, or a name for "grunge" or "seattle scene", and they hadn't yet started calling every then-new band "alternative"!.
It was all still just rock or metal!. Before they made everyone cut their hair and forget how to play guitar!.
Ahh, the "old" days!.
If you like their music, good for you with REM!.
Everyone should see seasoned bands while they are still around!. If you are really into a group, don't hesitate!. They break up and/or die like flies!.
My advice is try to get an idea of the set list before going!. It is weird seeing bands perform songs you don't know!. But if you know what they will be, you can learn them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

But they actually are really good and were better live than recorded!.

Gosh my first was glastonbury festival UK in the days it was free too and they never had a fence barrier either!.
Concerts and festivals are brill you'll have a wicked time but be sure not too drink loads because you need to wee loads and take short supplies of what you will need when you actuall go to see them, have a really good time wear something noticeable and dont forget spare batteries for ya camera!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

my first concert was Voodoo Fest in new orleans when i was like 10!. it was soo much fun!. just enjoy yourself and if ur going with a guy dont try to impress him, just be yourself!. i go to concerts all the time!. trust me, your gonna have a blast!Www@Enter-QA@Com
My 1st concert was Battle Cry!. Some of the bands where Pillar, and I forgot who else!. It was some weird Christian thing!. It was okay!. If I remember correctly it was in a sports stadium in Philadelphia PA!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
