I work in the Co-op warehouse in Cumbernauld, Scotland!. I wear a navy blue uniform!. When I go to Tesco, which is almost daily, I usually have folk asking me where to get the milk, baby foods, tea bags and sugar!!! As luck would have it, I'm such a regular customer that I can normally point folk in the right direction!. The fact that I have a huge Co-op logo on my chest, seems to mean nothing!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No you are not alone, I think it happens all the time!. I don't think I have had it happen to me personally, but I've definitely seen other people asking someone who was only a customer about something they wanted to buy! I think people just assume some people work there even if they don't have a name tag, it is mad!Www@Enter-QA@Com

It happened to me at Babies R Us sometime last year when I was registering for my baby shower!. I guess the lady saw me with the little scanner thing and assumed I was pricing stuff!. I said "No,!.!.!.!.!.I'm just shopiiiiing!"

I think if it ever happens again you should just mess with people and give them bogus "information"!. What are they gonna do!? Fire you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

This happens to me too!. It annoys me, but I have found a way to stop it!
Wear brightly coloured clothes! Most shop assistants are too miserable to put on brightly coloured clothes!.
Alternatively, you could wear a large hat, with a spring on it, and the word "I DONT WORK HERE" on flashy letters bouncing about!.
That should work!. Unless you're in a joke shop!.!.!.

Then!.!.!. THE JOKES ON YOU!
(See what I did there!? :D )Www@Enter-QA@Com

haha, no you are not alone!.!.!. lots of people have it happen to them!. i had it happen once, someone asked me how much something was/ if had it in different size, i was like "erm!. i don't work here sorry" :s haha!. i don't understand how people get mixed up with who works there and who is a customer!.!.!.!. they usually have uniform or some sorta name tag!! lol :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

On our way back to Kuala Lumpur form Johor Bahru yesterday, we stopped in a small restuarant for refreshments!. When i saw a man serving a table humbly, I asked my sister to be seated, saying " That man will serve us too!. " No need to go to the Counter to place your order!.

Imagine my surprise, when the man himself sat at the table after serving every one & proceeded to eat!. It was self - service - for his family !Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hi EJ!.
No you are not alone!. I have been plagued since my school days by a 'look a like' called Jane!. In all stages of my life she has been ever present!. No matter how I wore my hair or how much weight gained or lost!. I have always been mistaken for her!.
And her for me presumably!Www@Enter-QA@Com

It happens!. I have to wear a suit to work and the amount of times people ask me questions in shops is crazy!. The logical thing to do is to ask "excuse me do you work here!?" Some people are on their own planet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
