Poll: Would Dead Artists Be Happy About Corporations Profiteering Fom Their Tale!

Question: Poll: Would Dead Artists Be Happy About Corporations Profiteering Fom Their Talent!.!.!.!?
!.!.!.after their demise!? I ask because I recently posted a clip of a guy called Jeff Healey playing!. He is now sadly no longer with us and I got to thinking, now that that guy is dead would he be happy about people not being able to hear the music he created because the corporations want their slice of the pie!? Should all music become public property once the artist passes on!? Isn't that what they would want!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Great question!.

Unfortunately, the exploited will always remain exploited!. Whether you are some courageous movie star, musician, or artist!.!.!. you will be exploited eventually if either you are deemed great or even if you are a noble man, or a 'meek, small person' paying taxes to a system!.

Many elite and wealthy beings become unable to be creative and therefore become detatched - unable to astonish others with such artistic and creative skills - because they feed off the of the underclasses - so laziness takes over!. I believe the uppermost elte classes are sad/depressed too - but in a different way!.

Only being at the upper most part of a pyramid will ensure you have to do little work, and therefore you can live off the underclass - ultimately becoming lazy useless individuals who try and make their lives happy by spending more of the taxes the little people pay them!. They can then psycologically be likened to those who are ultimately poor and who end up on the streets!. They lose the efforts of enjoying labour - and the true happiness it brings after a true days work!.

You could be a famous figure with talent or without, or you are a shelf stacker in a store or a cleaner in a toilet!. You are all the same but not united!.

The failure of your unitism [or unity] falls prey to the richer more intelligent elite who can then form you, mould you, and use you to create 'money' for themselves again!.!.!. you are, after all, considered as 'fodder'!.

It's an interesting subject, that once thought about socratically and deeply, can juxtapose the wealthy elte's happiness with the redicoulously poor's happiness!.

Are they like minded in their 'social-scapes'!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I think dead artists would be ecstatic to hear that their music was being used for corporate gain!. After all, they are dead!. They don't need to hide behind all that crap about being true to the fans, or the music, or what ever Gandhi crap they throw out!. Now it can finally be what music has always been about!. Proving I'm better than you because you'll pay to hear me!. I'm not really writing songs for my fans, because I really don't care about them!. I'm writing songs for my financial gain!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It depends on how famous the person was and what kind of agreement they had in their contract before they passed on!. If he was a famous guitarist and signed to a major label, then they would actually have to finish out the contract because they have already put up the front money!. This is a better way to do that because if not, then they will have to sue the personal estate of the artist to get back the money they have already spent on advertising, travel, recording time, etc!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

"I got to thinking"

are you carrie bradshaw!?

i guess 10 different artists might give you 10 different answers!. thing is, if an artist signs a contract, he and his music are bound by the terms of that contract

if you dont like the terms, dont signWww@Enter-QA@Com

honestly, i think once they die they realize all was as much for not as it was for something, and they don't really care!. i think they have bigger concerns after earth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
