Question: Why is everyone defensive about their middle name!?
I always hear someone say what is your middle name, and the person that gets asked gets all defensive!. My middle name is Benjamin!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

alot of times its that ugly name of a relative your parents had to include or its something very special OR its that special secret you want to keep cause most places you only need to list the initials

I don't know, maybe cuz some people's middle names are wierd or embarrasing to them!. For example, this boy's middle name was Thomas and at recess my friend would be like "Oh, look, it's Thomas the tank Engine!." And make these train noises and he got sooo mad!. Yeah that was funny!.
