I think it should be, since alcohol is harmful as well, but people still drink it, and people drink and drive, i think it shoud be legal, but police should somehow i dont have something to test how much it is in your blood, and there should be a limit to how much is consumed by a person yearly!.!.!.i dont really know, but i say yes, but i also think that police should control it somehow, america would make so much money if they just legalized it and taxed it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes b/c scientific studies have shown the benefits of marijuana!. Furthermore, it would help the economy as it would be another item for the government to tax - meanwhile, we could (hopefully) bring the cost of necessaties (such as gas and groceries) down to an affordable price - assisting the poor to be able to afford to buy groceries instead of being on programs like WIC and welfare!.!.!. thus, putting taxpayers money in other much-needed areas (such as universal health care and education) and once again be helping out the economy!.
Of course, not just anyone should be able to buy weed (just like I don't believe alcoholics should be able to buy alcohol)!. You should need to pass some test to have a license for it, or it should be legalized in all states for medical purposes if nothing else!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seeing firsthand that alcohol is MUCH worse than marijuana I would have to positively say yes!. It could be regulated and taxed just like alcohol!. It would also put the black market out of that business and put all that money into the state and federal treasuries!.
There is too much time, money, and energy wasted on "busting" people for just small amounts of marijuana!

no, because right now it is grown and smoked for free by some people!. Why should some big company capitalize on something natural!. If it was legalized, there would be restrictions on individuals growing it!. That's a huge reason why it hasn't been legalized, the government hasn't found away to benefit from it!.

I think that marijuana never hurt anybody!.There haven't been any deaths as a result of smoking alone!. Smoking "chills people out" - so why would the crime rate increase!? If weed is easier and legal to get, the crime rate would go DOWN! I think that it should be your individual choice whether or not to smoke it, of course!. By experience, the high you get is very similar to drinking without the anger, so how is alcohol any different!? If anything, the "rush" you get from being drunk is 100x worse than anything you'd experience while smoking marijuana!.

No, there is a wall that exists for alcohol that doesn't for marijuana!. It is possible for one to have a drink or two and not become intoxicated!. Marijuana used to treat bipolar disease is HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper a month than other prescribed medications!. For instance, a one month's supply of Wellbutrin can cost $375!.00 a month!. That's just ONE drug, and it's usually prescribed in comjunction with others such as Lamictal ($412!.00 a month), Lithium ($43!.00 a month) Klonopin ($142!.00 a month) and Remeron ($182!.00 a month)!. A month's supply of marijuana (depending on where you live and how much you use can cost anywhere from $40!.00 or more a month!. If you live on a fixed income, and NEED to care for your bipolar issue, without insurance, it can cost you nearly a GRAND a month!. I could go on!.!.!.but I think I've made my point!.
