Well, first of all, I really appreciate you serving our country!. You are very brave and dedicated!. I cannot even imagine what you have to deal with on a daily basis and I truly appreciate your service!.
In terms of how America is!.!.!.it will depend on who you talk to, but the majority is having a pretty tought time considering the economy is doing poorly!. Gas is reaching $4 a gallon!. Obama is ahead of Clinton in terms of delegates (but not by much - it's still really close)!. McCain has the republican nomination!.!.!.!.!. And we are praying for troops to be coming home soon!Www@Enter-QA@Com

gas is high, but there aren't lines at the pump like there were in the late 70's!.!.!.!.!. we aren't rationing like we did in the 40's, and there aren't huge soup lines like there were in the 30's!.!.!.!.

we've had better days for sure; however, by checking history it is ironic that those are the times of our most significant accomplishments!. the MAIN problem with today's perspective is that we are so familiar with quick fixes!. unfortunately those days are over!. it will take years for the u!.s!. to rebound from our current woes of foreign relations, financial market troubles, housing, education (yes, education), budget cuts, etc!.!.!.etc!.!.!.BUT, we will overcome!because we must and because we are AMERICANS!!!

It's pretty much the same as it was when you left it except gas has gone up REALLY bad!. Almost 4 bucks a gallon!.
