Yeah!.!.!.mainly because they don't work as advertised!. If we could *get* the companies and special interests to go home and let *actual voting People* run the show, you know!.!.!.!? If we could do that maybe life wouldn't be so messed-up in 4-5 different ways at once!.
Trouble is, at least here in the States, you have a system where special interests can interfere in the process up to *eight times* before anyone gets to *Run* for president in the general election, not counting the Electoral College or the Media's influence!.
So yeah, ordinary people seem to be screwed!. And it seems to have been so from day one!.
