Like they hit me, sometimes for no reason, and then a few hours later, i get a fiver or tenner (￡50 just now)

maybe they felt guilty (which is why they give you the money) and then later they don't feel guilty anymore!? my mom sometimes takes me shopping when she feels guilty (although she doesn't realize it)!.
