When cooking yes, I love the stuff, but to smell afterwards - especially on people - is not so pleasant!. I get paranoid about smelling of it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My family were very down to earth plain food people, so we never, ever had garlic!. I didn't really discover it until I was in my early 20's, and once I did there was no going back!. I use it in almost all my cooking as the flavour enhancement is so wonderful!.
The smell of it cooking, especially in/on something like roast lamb is excellent!.
As to the after effects, it is supposed to have beneficial health advantages, but apart from the taste of food cooked with it, I suppose the only after effect that one might be aware of is the pungency of one's perspiration following digestion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes and No, Love the taste but never put enough in to suffer the after affects!.
One interesting bit of info, if you create your own pottery you should avoid eating Garlic(or wear gloves) as this can generate Black spots on the finished product when you sweat garlic!Www@Enter-QA@Com

most def!.love to roast and use as spread!.found out that it is a great 'staph' germ killer among other things!.hear heather locklear[actress] smells like garlic during all her love scenes!.THAT is not the most pleasant thing about itWww@Enter-QA@Com
