I definitely prefer love!. Love normally leads to lust, but not vice versa!. So with love you normally DO end up having both!.
Lust I suppose can sometimes lead to love (SOME really hot people end up also having really great personalities when you get to know them)!. But when it doesn't, it usually means that you gradually come to realise that the person you're lusting after isn't that great, and might even be rather annoying!.
