Answers:
first there are a few health issues
1!. make sure you get out of your seat and walk around regularly this helps prevent clots and dvt it also helps prevent leg feet swelling

2!. it may be tempting to eat everything given to you but I find its better to eat only small amounts otherwise you can get bloated and uncomfortable just sitting with a full tum will give you indigestion

3!. take a boiled sweet or mint or something if you have any ear probs and suck this during take off and landing because the air pressure can make your ears pop and can be painful for some people

4!. take a small inflatable neck pillow you will need to rest and these help prevent neck stiffness

other common sense things to remember
dont leave your valuables/purse passport in your seat when you move around or go to the toilet you may be all trapped in a plane together but you dont know who is next to you so use caution!.
having a book or magazines with you can help the time pass
you will get an inflight movie or two but it may not be your taste so take something to read or puzzle book to do
dont wear tight clothes or footwear you may be sitting down but feet swell and you need to be comfortable
I have found myself on flights where I have been too hot and too cold so wear a jacket/cardigan which you can put on or remove depending on the temperature
drink water rather than alcohol or juices fizzy drinks better to digest
If you are worried about anxiety try to remember this is a holiday and the fun starts with the flight if you have nerves tell the hostess prior to take off they will settle your nerves and calm you down
remember you can ask for drinks something light to eat if you feel queasy
keep a small bag and store tickets passport boarding passes all together this saves time when you land and need to have these things on hand

I hope this is helpful I have done a few long haul flights and this is what I have learned in my travels

most of all enjoy every minute of your trip I bet it will give you the 'travel bug' and it wont be long before you take off againWww@Enter-QA@Com

Do not sit the entire time, the greatest danger from doing that is that blood clots can form in your legs, make sure you move about every hour or so and stretch your legs!. It is a rather minute risk anyway, but it does happen, just get up and stretch, go to the bathroom etc evey so often and you will be just fine!.

I was about your age, the first time i flew, also!.

One more thing, is take some gum so that it helps you keep your ear open as the elevation change!.

Enjoy your trip!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

make sure you have music or a movie portable devise!.!.!.unless they show movies on the plane then hell your set! bring a pack of gum to keep your ears popping, (the air pressure sucks) once you get threw security i'd buy some munchies to take on the plane just in case the food bites!. relax and enjoy your flightWww@Enter-QA@Com

That trip from Canada to Thailand will be a long-haul one!.

If you worried that you're going to get air-sick, try not to eat few hours before the flight!. The cabin-crew will serve you meal(s), should you get hungry!. Bring your iPod or books, or whatever floats your boat, hun!.

Have a nice flight-experience!. I love flights!. It'll be great for you, hun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

bring something to do that can make you tune out the rest of the plane cause after about 2 hours, the kids and babys get restless!.!.!.!.
go to the bathroom befor you go on the plane and DO NOT go when there is a chance of terbulence!.
try to get a window seat cause they are roomyer and u can sleepWww@Enter-QA@Com

take lots to do!.!.reading, magazines, batteries for your mp3 player, mini dvd player, headphones!.!.!.or whatever you want!. also, take some dramamine if you get motion sick!. being on a plane that long feeling ill is not good!. you can't usually take food on your carryon (through security)!.!.if you want something the plane wont provide you'll have to get it once u've cleared and pay outrageous prices for it!. but it should be fine!.!.!.you'll have several stops I am sure to stretch!. make sure you drink lots of water! good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Take electronics, books, puzzles, anything to keep you occupied!. also be comfortable and your ears will keep popping and it may be noisy when you want to sleep so take ear plugs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

take some chewing gum and chew on it while landing so ur ears dont pop!.take books so that you dont get bored!.dont forget your tickets!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Bring some gum to chew, a good long book to read and ear plugs in case there are screaming kids!. Oh bring with your iPOD if you have one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

don try to flirt with the air hostess

dont spank on her back

dont try to say hi to ur friend jackWww@Enter-QA@Com

when they tell you to put on your seat belt, put it on!Www@Enter-QA@Com
