Over in Ecuador almost everyone is named Maria and they have to have second names and be called by both names to find out which Maria is being talked about!. If everybody was named Alice then the name "Alice" itself would devalue!. There would be lots of nicknames and no one will call the others Alice!. Some people would change their names!.
