If people eat crops from large farms then millions of animals have been slaughtered in the entire process and especially the harvest!.
Look around you!. Do you see cleared land for houses!? Do you live in a house or apartment!? Billions of animals were slaughtered for these things to be a possibility!. Are you going to live in a cave!?
Do you use roads or highways!? You might want to look into the entire chain of events which happens to animal life when roads and highways are made!.
Were you born in a hospital, and have you ever had medical care!? Billions of animals are used and often killed in the research and development of medicines, surgical procedures and the processes involved!.
Do you use over the counter medications!? All of them also have to pass FDA regulations, and you might want to study what goes on in all research to achieve approval from the FDA!.
Do you have dental work done!? Breast implants!? Botox!? Collagen!? Do you use condoms!? All of these processes are tested on billions of animals at some point in the development and research even if they claim no animal was used or harmed!.

it sounds good to say the same punishment they inflicted on the animal!. they need to be put in jail and actually treated like a criminal and not just slapped on the wrist!. also a big fine that would take all they have!. why would someone think an animal would not have feeling too!?!?!? Sorry, probably not what you want to hear, but perhaps we should shown them a little loving kindness, try to understand why it is they are so cruel!. Until we do this we have little chance of making any difference!.

I think that they should have done to them what they did to the animal but only 100 times worse!. Anyone that can harm a innocent animal is one of the lowest life forms around and I use the term life form loosely!. I have a sweet cat and a very loving and gentle dog!. And I would do anything to keep them safe from harm!. They are a big part of our family!. They live indoors with us!. They eat what we do sometimes, go for rides, lay on the couch, sleep in the beds!. They feel pain, joy, disappointment,etc!. And I do believe that they have souls!. The people who are cruel to animals, should be to watch a video on how wrong it is to kill animals! If you kill them, there is no point, as they haven't learnt their lesson, but the video should make them be able to change their mind about killing!Www@Enter-QA@Com
