ummm!.!. anytime I try to read their minds, all I get is <blink> <blink> {YAAAAAWN}
But they sure can get the point across when they want something specific!. They either bat their food dishes across the floor (they're aluminim), flip the water bowl upside down!.!. or the big one lays down, puts one of his snowshoe paws in his dish and sighs heavily!. If that doesn't work!.!.he whacks me with it!.

it sounds crazy but it sometimes she'll look up and almost instinctively we'll;l open the door for her and out she'll trot or look over and find her water bowl empty!.
