Question: Why did you start smoking!?
I quit over a year ago!. But my husband still smokes!. When he comes in from smoking he stinks!. I think why in the world did I ever do that!?! Then I think why did I even start in the first place!? It was because I actually "thought" it was cool and my friends were doing it!. (lame, I know I was young and stupid) So, why did you start!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't smoke anymore, I quit cold turkey about 4 years ago!. I use to love it!. Now I get completely disgusted with the smell and it gags me!. I know what you are saying, what makes people start!? It doesnt smell good, it doesn't taste good, it hurts your lungs, causes cancer, makes it hard to breath!. Etc!. What would attract you to it!? I'm with you on this!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I quit too about 6 months ago!. My parents smoked my whole life and I craved those things before I even put one to my lips!. I started early in college (Tried a few before that)!. My boyfriend at the time smoked and so did my BFF (at the time)!. After a drink or two they sounded so good and I started!. It took me YEARS and several attempts to stop!. My husband still smokes (outside) and I can't believe the smell!. When I quit at first, I loved the smell!. I think in a way smelling it was almost like having one!. Now it doesn't smell that way!. It stinks bad! Last night he had one before bed and rolled over to give me a kiss!. I kissed him and then asked (kindly) that he go take a Listerine shower!.

I'd smoked bud for years, but never smoked a cigarette, and one night i was out with my friends!. I had a packet of cigs so i could build up when i got home, and there was this really cut girl in the nightclub we were in who was smoking!.
I figured, if i asked her for a light, we'd have an excuse to start talking, and I've smoked when I'm out ever since!. All i got off her was a fumble in the toilets though :-)
I never smoke at home though, perhaps its because i know i can get a joint anytime :-)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Same, I also thought it was cool, and I started soo young, 15!. I then had to quit as I got pregnant!. But after I then smoked socially, just if I went out with friends, I might have one!. And now I am pregnant again, but I still have a pack in my purse!. I hate it, you stink, and its disgusting!. After this baby is born, I am going to shot for never picking up another cig!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Ive nevewr smoked, and never think there is a reasonable explanation for starting!.
You stink, it costs a lot, and now you have to keep dashing outside for a puff!.
It astonishes me also how smokers allow their moods to be affected by these little white sticks!.!.!.they get angry if they don't get one!.
Why do these cancer sticks bring more happiness than doing the good things, like having family time!.!.!.they don't relax!.!.they always wonder when their next ciggie is gonna be!.
It must be a sad, sad life!.!.!.

i did because my friend wante dthem and we all decided to smoke with her i thought it was dissgusting and never wanted to again vut i did and then she wanted more so i bought a pack for her from a friend and ended up smoking half of it now i only smoke when im high/drunk and with someone who smokes!.!.!.!.( see how stupid it is)Www@Enter-QA@Com
peer pressure definatly! my friends were doing it just like you and i thought i would look cooler if i did!. I gave up smoking when i found out i was pregnant best thing i ever did, i realsie now how much it makes you stink! My partner smokes and the smell makes me gag!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Smoking a cigg used to help me relax!.!. but lately all I can think about is how disgusting it is whenever I light up!. I used to be a pack a day smoker for about a year until I quit recently!. It's easy to stop if you really think about what you're doing to your body!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
