I do!. Mine asked me how my kids were doing, and noticed that my hair is shorter and darker than the last time I saw her-a year and a half ago!.
I'm fine by the way!. Got some blood work done to make double sure(liver, kidneys, and thyroid checks), and been prescribed some diuretics!. Blood pressure is perfect!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No!. Even if I had a doctor I probably wouldn't!. I do not like people who spend their entire professional career "practicing"!. I want to deal with someone who has had enough practice to do the job!. When someone tells me that they are "practicing" it makes me nervous!. I am not going to let someone cut my hair who is still practicing, why would I let someone cut me open who is practicing!? Why is it that the only professions there they only practice are jobs that can have great impact upon our lives, doctors and lawyers!. Everyone else has a profession, even a novice ditch digger, but doctors and lawyers have a practice!. I understand that these people will never really get their trade down so that they can get it right every time, but come on, give us a little confidence, don't tell us that you are just practicing on us, practicing with our lives!. Tell us that you are professionals and that you are confident enough in your skills that you have had all of the practice that you need and that you are ready to do your job for real!. Yes I love my Dr!. He actually listens to me when we try to discover what's wrong with me and I tell him I know it's not what he's leaning towards!. I hate taking unnecessary medications just to rule stuff out!. He remembers me even though I rarely go and see him!.
One time I had a freak accident where I fell on a knife and stabbed myself in the arm!. It was a really crazy scenario and the urgent care Dr!. that I spent over an hour with explaining that it was an accident and my husband didn't stab me (they seemed a little suspicious at first) he gave me seven stitches and told me to come see him three days later!. He tried to convince me to make him my primary care Dr!. and when I went back three days later he had no recollection of me at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have a great relationship with my doctor!. Built up over years of conversations and trust!. Now I figure out what kind of drugs I want, figure out the symptoms they cover, tell him the symptoms and he prescribes the meds!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I haven't found a new doctor since I have moved!. I used to love my other doctor in my hometown though!. She was this tiny little French lady who would pull up a chair beside me and sit and listen to everything I had to tell her about what was ailing me!. She was so sweet!. I find that women doctors seem to listen a little better than their male counterparts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't have one right now, but the one I had in NC was great!. She ALWAYS had time for me!. She knew I was strapped for cash, so when I needed meds, she'd give me enough samples to get me through!.

I don't think my doctor truly remembers who I am, it takes about 1 hour of waiting before I get to see him and then he's interrupted as we are talking!. I feel more like a number then a patient, I'm looking for a new doctor now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have good luck with physician's assistants!. They seem to give me more time, remember me better, and be more thorough than the doctor ever has time for!.
