Question about people in New England?!
Question: Question about people in New England!?
In a bunch of movies I've seen people in New England address each other by their full names (I'm going work!. See you later, Tom Edwards) even in casual conversation!. Is it really like that or is it just a thing in the movies!? Either way, why!?

Lived in Maryland all my life, and I never noticed that!. Have been in the South and they do address each other by both given names though in large part!.Mary Jane, Charles Edward, James Lee, etc!. They don't seem to shorten or give nick names to the likes of James, being Jim, David being Dave, Edward, being Ed!. That sort of thing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
