Average mug size?!
Question: Average mug size!?
im looking at purchasing a Air pot for work and it holds 5L!.
i am trying to calculate the average size of a mug as we have a few different ones in the office!.
i need people to measure there mugs capacity in ML and will take an average from the results i get (whould do it here but not got a measuring jug)
i need to know how many cups this air pot will do in the office so i can see if i need a bigger/smaller one!.
thanks to everyone how participates and the 10 points will go to a random person unless one of you stands out as having put that little bit of extra umff into your answerWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
im a 5'5" mug,
i cant believe i just went and measured a mug for you, i must be in love, or be bored haha, anyhoo, all "average" mugs i ever have known fit one cup which is equal to 8oz, and about 225ml, which kind of makes sense if a cup, is well, the size of a cup!
please note, that is how much liquid is comfortably held in the mug (ie the height you would fill it to without overflowing about 1cm down the cup (obviously if i filled it to the top it might be 300ml if i filled it to the rim, but im not because thats not how you drink coffee!. )Www@Enter-QA@Com
